The Sherline Individual Milling Collet – 3/16 is engineered for use with the Morse #1 internal taper, standard on Sherline lathes and vertical mills. This design allows for a superior clamping force, making it ideal for securing miniature end mills, center drills, and Dremel® bits. The collet requires a precise shank size for optimal performance. Its shallow taper angle ensures a secure hold, necessitating a few drawbolt revolutions to release the collet from the spindle.
